West Lothian School of Gymnastics Trust – Facility visits

A trip down south was on the agenda today for Penny and Wendy with the company of Liz McNeill, West Lothian Rhythmic Gymnastic Club and Ruth Griffin, Artistic Gymnastic Club. The trip was to visit two north east gymnastics clubs, the South Durham Gymnastics Club (Pink Gym) in Spennymoor and the Newcastle Gymnastics Academy in the Benfield Centre, Walkergate, Newcastle upon Tyne. The site visits helped us appreciate the quality provision being developed at club level in England and allowed us all to see the different layouts of the facilities and discuss operational and governance issues. A good day of learning was had by all.
