First IRB 22/FIFA 1* Pitch Planned for Netherdale

PMR Leisure have been commissioned by the SFA, Gala Football Club, Gala Rugby Club, Borders College and Borders Council to undertake a feasibility study into the potential for a new IRB 22/FIFA 2* 3rd Generation synthetic pitch located at Netherdale sports complex in Galashiels. PMR Leisure will be consulting with all the major stakeholders to asses the pitch’s financial viability, the most suitable location for the pitch at the Netherdale site and evaluate the potential ownership and governance options for the new facility going forward. This facility would be the first joint community football and rugby pitch of its kind in Scotland.
