PMR Leisure have been working closely with Scottish Gymnastics supporting particularly the clubs in the East Region. Scottish Gymnastics through their new Strategy believe that the future for the sport lies in the heart of their clubs and we have been supporting Lasswade Gymnastic Club look at their future Business Plan and created a new partnership with Midlothian Council, Scottish Gymnastics and DCI to put in place a new pathway Development Manager and additional pathway coaches to ensure that the pathway to performance can come forward through a quality managed environment.
We have also been supporting key clubs in Edinburgh as they take a major step forward through the provision of the new performance facilities created by Edinburgh Leisure at the new Tumbles facility in Portobello.
In West Lothian we are undertaking an options appraisal and feasibility for Scottish Gymnastics to identify the future opportunities for the clubs at Craigwillow Gymnastics Centre.
