This new facility will provide a life line for clubs in Campbeltown who have had a 70 mile round trip to Lochgilphead for a playing surface like this.

David Paterson who has led the campaign sad “today marks the culmination of many people’s time and contribution to achieve such a great facility and we are delighted to have all our friends here and PMR Leisure to help us celebrate this great day.

Argyll & Bute Council and sportscotland funded the pitch and upgraded changing rooms which becamea priority project as a result of the Pitches Strategy PMR Leisure undertook for the Council. Following the completion of the startegy PMR Leisure were retained to work with the community of Campbeltown to help bring the project to fruition.

Friday was a day for celebration and the opening was lead by the children of Campbeltown cluster Primary Schools.
