PMR Leisure Ltd is a specialist Community Sports and Leisure Consultancy established in 1999 by Penny Lochhead to respond and deliver effective bespoke client centered solutions to sporting communities across Scotland and the UK. With over 20 years consultancy experience, Director Penny Lochhead has multi disciplinary experience in facility design and development through to bespoke community management delivery using Not for Profit and Social Enterprise development solutions.
PMR Leisure have established a reputation as one of the leading independent sports consultancies in Scotland which has resulted in PMR being involved with the advisory team to the Children's Commissioner for Young People on community use of schools and particularly in the area of PPP; the development of the school sports facilities indoor and outdoor pitch design guidance for sportscotland and working in partnership with SENSCOT and Social Investment Scotland on the development of a Sport and Social Enterprise Strategy.
We are the leading sports consultancy working in club development; taking established sporting organisations and helping them become investment ready to be 21st Century Community Clubs. Working in partnership with them along with their Governing Bodies over a period of time to ensure the transformation to asset ownership and development is fully complete and they have long term sustainable plans in place for their future. In recent years the development of Social Enterprises has become a specialist area for PMR in the sporting arena which is in line with National Policy for the Third Sector.
The PMR Team consists of Penny Lochhead (Leisure Director) and Wendy Sheldrick (Research Manager) along with Partner Associate Companies such as Slorach Wood Architects and Sterry Walters Partnership who provide our community clients with valuable design expertise if required.
